Practice Squad Takes Shape

With the release of QB Stephen McGee to make room for new center Ryan Cook, the Cowboys 53-man roster is set for now. In addition, the Cowboys announced their practice squad signings and they are:
LB Orie Lemon
WR Danny Coale (5th round pick)
RB Jamize Olawale
RB Lance Dunbar
DT Robert Callaway
DT Ben Bass
OG Ronald Leary
WR Tim Benford
I was really holding my breath on the Danny Coale release, but glad he made it back to the team. Injuries set him back significantly opening the door for Beasley and Holmes to make the team, but I think with continued work he’ll be a good asset down the line. Lance Dunbar is the other player I wanted to see return as well, and he could very well get called up with oft injured Jones still on the team.
