Rookie RT Carimi Put On Injured Reserve

According to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune, Bears rookie right tackle Gabe Carimi has been lost for the season with his knee injury.
Here’s what McClure had to say about the injury:
The Bears have placed rookie tackle Gabe Carimi on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Carimi, a first round pick from Wisconsin, underwent a minor knee scope a week ago. He suffered a partially dislocated right knee cap during Week 2 at New Orleans and hasn’t played in a game since.
“Disappointed, yes, but he’s been out a while,” Lovie Smith said of Carimi. “We’ve played most of the season without him. Gabe eventually will be a great player for us. But right now, we need other guys to step up, and we’ve moved on.”
Lance Louis has stepped in for Carimi at right tackle and played well.
