Bears defensive end Julius Peppers wasn’t able to practice today with his sprained MCL.
It’s looking more and more doubtful that he will play on Sunday night.
He will likely try to give it a go before game time, but right now it seems like he won’t be able to take the field for the entire game.
The Bears are hopeful that Peppers will be able to play because they realize the lack of playmakers behind him.
With Peppers likely out, second-year end Corey Wootton will see playing time, along with backup Nick Reed.
Defensive tackle Matt Toeaina (knee) and right tackle Gabe Carimi (knee) weren’t able to practice and were ruled out for Sunday night.
Wide receiver Earl Bennett (questionable) has been out since Week Two, when he suffered a chest injury on a hit by Saints safety Roman Harper.
He was able to practice a little bit this week, but don’t expect him to play
