Report: Bears Tackle Carimi Out Up To Four Weeks With Dislocated Knee

According to a source with the Bears, offensive tackle Gabe Carimi suffered a dislocated knee late in the second quarter of the 30-13 loss to the Saints.
Carimi was replaced by veteran Frank Omiyale, who didn’t do a very good job alongside an offensive line that gave up five sacks in the second half.
It’s been called a partial separation, so Carimi likely won’t need surgery, but he probably won’t be able to play for the next two weeks against Green Bay and Carolina.
Gabe Carimi needs to heal up fast because he was starting to turn into one of the more steady lineman on the offense for the Bears.
“It (happened) during two-minute (offense) pass (protection),” Carimi said after the game. “It just got rolled up on. They haven’t said anything yet (in terms of severity of the injury); haven’t given me anything yet.”
