After Thoughts: Bears Week One Win Against The Falcons

The Bears didn’t allow the Falcons to score a touchdown in this game. Two field goals and an interception return for a touchdown was all the Bears gave to the Falcons.
Brian Urlacher led the Bears defense in tackles with ten on the day. It was the first time in his ten year career that he intercepted a pass and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Only three defensive ends were active for this game, starters Israel Idonije and Julius Peppers and reserve end Nick Reed.
Cornerback Charles Tillman forced a fumble out of Michael Turner’s hands in the first quarter. His forced fumble today was his 25th in his nine seasons in the NFL. He has the most forced fumbles among cornerbacks since 2003.
