Former Colts head coach and current NBC analyst Tony Dungy has always been a good friend of Bears head coach Lovie Smith. So, when he talks about the Bears he usually says nice things.
Not to say his views are biased. He just speaks the truth about the team he beat in Super Bowl XLI to bring a Lombardi Trophy to Indianapolis.
Dungy appeared on “The Waddle & Silvy Show” on ESPN 1000 in Chicago today and he had some things to say about the critics who are against this Bears team.
Here’s what Dungy had to say:
“I think they will get better on defense. I think Jay Cutler with another year in coach [Mike] Martz’s system, they are going to improve offensively. I think everyone is looking at their offensive line and maybe that’s the reason, people are saying they lost Olin Kreutz, and they lost some key members there. But I like the Bears.
