WR Kris Adams went undrafted out of UTEP, but signed with the Bears almost immediately after the NFL lockout was declared over.
In four years at UTEP, Adams reeled in 144 receptions for 2657 yards and 30 touchdowns. He caught 14 touchdowns during his senior and sophomore campaigns.
Adams most impressive game last season came in a loss against Brigham Young when he reeled in three passes for 153 and three touchdowns.
Adams stands at 6’3″, 195 lbs and the Bears really like what he can bring to the receiving core.
The only problem is he will have to make his way onto the team by being a contributor on special teams.
With Johnny Knox, Earl Bennett, Devin Hester, Roy Williams and Sam Hurd all locks to make the team Adams will have to show why he belongs during this training camp.
