WR Rashied Davis has been a very solid contributor since coming to the Bears in 2005. That season he was used as a reserve cornerback, but once the Bears realized his value they moved him to wide receiver.
Since then, Davis has reeled in 88 passes for 1032 yards and five touchdowns in 92 games. Davis has made 15 starts in those six seasons. Even though Davis hasn’t made a start since 2008, he is very valuable on special teams where he has proven to be very steady.
Davis has been a solid contributor on Dave Toub’s special teams since landing with the Bears. He makes key tackles on punts and kicks and is valuable as a return man when his name is called.
