Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb played surprisingly well in 13 games last season.
Webb, last year’s seventh-round pick filled in nicely at right tackle last season and is expected to get a shot to start at left tackle once the lockout is over.
Webb had a lot to say about his rookie season, the current lockout and his off-season, here’s what he talked about:
“I leave that (decision) to the coaching staff,” said Webb, who played right tackle as a rookie. “Coach (Mike) Tice is really good about putting guys in the right place. And I would love to be in that premier position, left tackle. I just want to contribute any place possible — either left or right. I definitely don’t want to leave any doubt on the field. But I am ready; I’m prepared for anything they throw at me.”
