CB Tim Jennings may stand at 5’8″, but he is a solid cornerback. He was bullied by Packers WR Greg Jennings in the NFC Championship and that may have lost him his job heading into next season (if a season is played).
Tim Jennings played in all 16 games, making 56 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble. He took over for Zack Bowman, who started the season at cornerback, but struggled mightily.
In the regular season, the Bears allowed only five completions longer than 33 yards and the two longest were most attributed to breakdowns by safeties. Jennings was a big part of that success, but at the same time the pass rush from the defensive front helped the secondary look much better than it was.
The Bears will likely stick with Tillman at one of the corner positions and bring in competition for Jennings and Bowman. A nice size cornerback could help the
