Wade Phillips has snagged up Reggie Herring to Houston, its official. I fully expect secondary coaches Brett Maxie and Dave Campo to be relieved of their duties as well. The secondary played their worst football in several seasons, and a fresh start could be just what the doctor ordered. I don’t think anyone is surprised Herring is gone, but everyone SHOULD definitely expect most, if not all the defensive staff to be overhauled. Expect Ryan to assemble a solid lineup of assistants. Bryan Cox and Jerome Henderson are likely candidates; however, the Browns still have them on the payroll until they secure their next defensive coordinator – should be soon.
